Fuck you, Thursday.
I do not wish to go out today, especially when it involves spending time with someone not worth my time. But I've made a promise.. And I have to do it. Airport pick up for a fren, then dinner and spend time with that fren. =_= I do not wish to spend my time with anyone else on x'mas eve eventho' x'mas eve don mean shit to me. He's not panda and I only have time for panda. Gr I wish he'd never asked the favour from me. I just need a quiet reflection at home and I do not wish to see anyone besides panda! ARGH. I've told panda about this and he said to just chill. Sigh. I wish i could but I've been in a really bad mood for the past few days. I hope I wudn't snap at my fren.
Fml.

So I think I'm going home tomorrow. This whole lying to me thing is actually working out quite well for me. I get more days off, but don't get charged for half of them. The only downside is the driving.

E came to chat with me a while ago n requested that I help look for a few games for him which he could not find on ebay. Told him i might not be able to bring back so many but I'll try my best He said he noticed my personal message the other day that I was playing persona 4 and it's one of the games he's been seeking high and low for for a long time. Anyways, thought I'd make a list of the games he wants before I forget;
Persona 4 Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 Ico Shadow of the Colossuss Zone of the Enders We Heart Katamari
I'll need to check the game stores to see if they have those. Well persona 4 is a definite yes cos i bought it just the other day and i think I've seen Marvel VS capcom somewhere before and maybe shadow of the colossuss. i might even hav a copy myself, just gotta find it in my collections.

What does it mean that I stay up as long as I can, then try to sleep as long as I can, then feel guilty about both?

I am in Saratoga Springs for a while, it seems. About 3.5hrs from home. This place is a big step up from south carolina. I have an apartment with a room mate finally, instead of a BEQ.
For now the job is pretty easy. We're not getting worked much because they don't really know what to do with us, but pretty soon things are going to go to hell again, and another 6 months will hopefully fly by. After that... I don't know. There are a few options, all of which are improvements, provided I make it through this school. Hopefully I can land back home for a bit.

I have friends who think that I am silly for having one of these. Apparently it goes against certain things that I believe, and I am some sort of hypocrite. Maybe that's just part of what I believe?
Hello again, journal.

80)Boneshaker by Cherie Priest (2009, Tor Books, 418 pages)
This alternate history/steampunk/dark science fantasy follows single mother Briar Wilkes and her son amidst the ruins of a walled in Seattle (circa 1880s). Zeke Wilkes is searching for a way to clear the legacy of his father, Leviticus Blue: the man responsible for building a tunneling machine called Boneshaker, which pretty much demolished the city and released a toxic gas from the earth (called The Blight) with the awful property of turning the living into the walking ravenous. Briar is searching for her wayward son before he gets himself killed. Though most of the locals dwell outside the walls of Seattle, the protagonists soon discover a strange subculture of gas masked danger seekers, drunks, Chinese machinists, steamtech low lives, and a peculiar mad scientist making homes amidst the Blight fogged ruins.
The deliciously original setting is a delight here combining some of the better parts of weird westerns (ala the Deadlands RPG and the work of Joe R. Lansdale), wild zeppelin adventures, and zombpocalyptic fiction. However, all of these disparate elements work in a relatively seamless whole, with a character motivated, suspense-filled plot that zips along. Priest is a wonderful storyteller, and I hope she will tell more tales in this intriguing world.
